We offer many products and services at First Miami:
First Miami provides savings accounts with the college student in mind. Deposits to the share accounts may be made by ACH origination, Direct Deposits, mail, wire transfer, or in person. Withdrawals may be done in person or with our convenient ATM card.
We want to give students the opportunity to establish a good credit score while learning to maintain stable financial standing.
Another excellent service that First Miami is able to provide to all members is access to a VISA credit card. We have found that many students graduate college without an established credit history, which leads to higher interest rates and other hassles when applying for the first car loan or finding a place to rent. Upon arriving at Miami, all members are eligible for our VISA Classic card.
We offer a variety of loans from new or used car loans to computer and book loans.
Upperclassmen tend to open these accounts when they live, pay bills and buy groceries together. One person will have the account tied to his/her name, but all joint users are equally liable for the account and all will have access to it at any time.
The easiest method listed there is report the fraud directly to Visa by calling their customer service line at 800-322-8472. Remember that there is only a 60-day window to report the fraud starting from the time the fraudulent transaction first appears on your monthly statement.
